SCR is a Swedish humanitarian and development organisation. With a focus on small scale efforts through local partners we aim to make long term impact to end poverty and hunger, ensure health and achieve gender equality.
We operate currently in Somaliland and Iraq.
Somaliland

In northern Somalia, we support efforts to bring help, light and hope to the most vulnerable in the society.

We support humanitarian intervention and development projects in the northern Iraq.

Ifrah Hussein Dahir is one of the local health workers and TBAs (traditional birth attendants) in the Bali Mataan IDP camp in Somalia. She was one of the first to be trained by the aid organization Warsan. Since then she has supported countless pregnant women and births and helped vulnerable families in need of care and support.
